Right now NFTs are still primarily seen as a digital collectible. Many of the projects tout future "utility" with very little functioning uses beyond trading like baseball or Pokémon cards.

We started 10,000 Acts because we believe NFTs are the key to creating a direct pipeline from the giver to the person standing next to the person that needs help. By creating a chain of assistance that goes from the financially willing, to the physically able, and finally to the person in need, the only people involved are the ones who need to be.

NFT based giving offers an opportunity for maximum efficiency in both giving, but also, in the ability of the giver to participate in a way never before offered. While we at 10,000 Acts are just getting started in developing our roadmap, we envision many opportunities for givers to keep contact with recipients while maintaining their privacy if so desired. This will allow for ongoing gifts and the ability to monitor the progress of past donations.
